Josh and Cory moved to Ames and started Harvest Vineyard Church in 2004. Outside of Harvest you might find Josh enjoying adventures with Cory, loving six stellar kids, engaging in almost any outdoor activity, playing fantasy football, and eating nacho cheese Doritos.

Liam is originally from Minnesota and has been on staff since 2010. He has been married to Lauren for 10 years, has three young children, and a small dog who loves to chase rabbits. Outside of Harvest, you will find Liam playing hockey, cleaning and organizing, or reading a good book.

Pastor, Fort Dodge Campus

Maggie has lived in central Iowa for her entire life and grew up in Nevada. She has been on staff at Harvest Vineyard Church since 2019 and now lives in Fort Dodge where our new campus has started. She loves spending time with kids, reading great books, kayaking, hammocking, and being with friends and family.

Kent and his wife Diane are lifelong Iowans who planted the Waverly, Iowa Vineyard Church in 2000 where Kent was on staff until 2015. Away from Harvest, you can often find Kent cranking homemade ice cream with his grandkids or smoking pork butt or brisket for his family and friends.

Jason and his wife Julie live in Story City with their three children. He has been on staff since 2014, and enjoys disc golf, visiting National Parks, laughing with friends and family, singing in Spanish, and eating Reese's peanut butter cups.

Rachel and her husband live in Ames with their three beautiful daughters. She joined the staff in October 2018. She enjoys "almost" anything in the sunny outdoors - hiking, running, boating, yard work and traveling. She especially loves time with people, singing and the peacefulness of quiet spaces.

Barry hails from northwest Iowa and came on staff in 2010. Barry is passionate about raising up, equipping, and guiding leaders in the worship, AVL, and online church areas. He loves time with his family, traveling, and anything involving music.

Cleaning Overseer & Ministry Intern

Will is originally from Ames, but moved to Iowa City in 2020. He attended the University of Iowa where he majored in accounting. He currently lives in Ames with his wife Morgan and dog Patches. In his free time, he enjoys disc golfing, playing video games, and watching sports.

A lifelong Ames resident, Alex and his wife, Sarah, live with their cats, Darby and Felix, right in the heart of town. He joined the staff in 2020 and works with all things communications. He loves to spend his time traveling, cooking, online with Vineyard Gaming, and playing guitar on the worship team.

Originally from northern Iowa, Sarah and her husband, Alex, live in Ames with their cats, Darby and Felix. She's been on staff since 2016 and also works as a graphic designer and photographer for a local non-profit, Practical Farmers of Iowa. Sarah enjoys new restaurants, traveling, and making delicious foods.

Youth Worship & Women’s Ministry Overseer

Working part-time, Cory wears a handful of ministry hats from youth, to women's ministry, to leading worship. She launched a church with Josh in 2004, folds laundry for six kids, and is a believer in fresh starts, new mercies, and a thermos of coffee in the woods.

Mylie joined the staff in fall 2022. She is passionate about all things music related and loves to learn random instruments, like the accordion. In her free time, you will find her reading in her hammock, writing songs, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Marie and her family have been a part of Harvest for nearly a decade. Her full house of eight kids and some pets, is in Nevada. From the dishes and laundry, to football games and choir concerts, the business of mom life fills her days.

Kenzie is from Minnesota but lives in Story City with her husband Nick and pup Raylan. She has been on staff since 2021 and currently works with Harvest Seed Company helping support our amazing volunteers and volunteers at Young Adult Nights. Kenzie loves to run, read, and do art projects.

Nicole, her husband, Aaron, along with their kids enjoy the work and fun of family life on the farm. She prefers time outside whenever possible and loves to bake goodies for special occasions... well, really any occasion, like a Wednesday. Nicole has been on staff at Harvest since 2011.

Anna and her husband, Will, live in Ames with their two young children. She joined staff in 2021 and currently serves on the children's ministry team, where she is passionate about empowering volunteers and creatively showing who Jesus is to the kiddos in our community. Anna loves reading, writing, board games and anything that gets her outside.

Will grew up in Alabama but currently resides in Huxley, IA with his wife Anna son Wren and daughter Maeve. Will has been a staff member at Harvest since 2022. In his free time he enjoys watching Bama football, playing sports, traveling, camping, paddle boarding, board games, eating fried food, and spending time with family.

Julie and her husband, Jason, live in Story City with their three kids. She has been on staff since 2009 working with children's ministry, Harvest Seed Company, mentoring, and Rhythms of Grace. Julie loves to laugh, travel, create and drink coffee.
